Since the beginning of 2021, more than 70 investment projects for over 50 billion rubles have been implemented in the Krasnodar Region
The Head of Kuban, Veniamin Kondratyev, spoke in an interview with Interfax about the economic situation in the region during the pandemic.
– Since the beginning of the year, we have implemented 73 investment projects for about 52 billion rubles. Another 50 investment projects for about 23 billion rubles are in the final stage currently. This is a good result for a pandemic year. I value our local investors very much because they should be the first to believe in the potential of their region, in its stability, and be the first to invest in the economy of the region, – Veniamin Kondratyev said.
The projects implemented this year include the long product rolling mill of the Abinsk Electrometallurgical Plant, the Yandex.Market sorting center, and the SberLogistika distribution center.
The Governor noted that all sectors of the economy are developing despite the situation with the coronavirus. By the end of 2021, turnover in public catering may grow by 2.8% compared to 2019; that one in agriculture – by 2.2%, in the construction sector – by 3.7%, and in the industrial sector – by 4.5%.
